How Our Online Consignment Works:

1. You (the artist/artisan) receive 80% of all sales, while We (the consignment site) receive 20%.

2. To list your items for sale on our site, You (the artist/artisan) or We (the site owners) will log into the Members Only page at www.BrownCountyShops.com/Members.aspx. There, you (or we) can post photos and descriptions of your products or crafts. It's a simple process; however, if you prefer, we can handle that for you.

3. Customers and shoppers will see your work or products on our site. They will make their purchase online, and our consignment software will process the transaction for you. Our consignment software will immediately send You an e-mail receipt with the customer's purchase information, mailing address, and relevant criteria. You simply reply to the e-mail to confirm that you received it.

4. Once you have confirmed the order by replying to the e-mail, and our Online Consignment site has captured payment through the encrypted Secure Order Form, we will send a check to You (the artist/artisan) in the amount of 80% of the total sales price for every item you sell through our BrownCountyShops.com Consignment Site. We can issue payment each time an item sells, or send payment weekly or monthly if you prefer.

5. You (the artist/artisan) will ship your sold items to the customer who purchased the items, as detailed on the customer's receipt, and you will retain the shipping and tracking information. This is a great way to keep your product line in front of the many customers who browse our site!
